Meanwhile, in the Bronx, the man who broke into Parker's apartment returns to the ramshackle building he has been staying in. Peter wonders to himself what kind of creature could have frightened her so badly. Peter understands and goes into the bedroom to pack a bag so they can stay in a hotel. She assures Peter that she is fine, but she can't stay the night in the apartment. However, much to her horror, the mask grew a smile full of teeth.
